Alphabet Glue Giveaway

Alphabet Glue Giveaway

June 21, 2012

Every few months I feel honored to welcome Annie Reichmann, the creator of Alphabet Glue, to this space to showcase her latest edition. Alphabet Glue is a staple part of our lives, and having it gives me those few extra projects, those special ways to bring reading into our lives that I need and am encouraged by.  Annie is here today to offer a few editions of Volume 7 (Summer), and to share some beautiful photographs of just a few of the projects that you will find inside.

In Annie’s words:

Summer is here at last, and with it comes the latest issue of Alphabet Glue! Alphabet Glue is an e-magazine for families who love books. Each issue contains leveled reading lists, bookmaking tutorials, storybuilding activities and hands on projects that complement favorite titles in children’s literature. A perfect resource for homeschooling families as well as families who just love to do projects and read books together, Alphabet Glue is designed to help busy families easily incorporate literary activities into their household routines in a way that is creative and fun.

Volume Seven of Alphabet Glue is filled with projects and printables that capture the magic of easy summer days. Fold cootie catchers that start fantastic stories, put together handmade postcard books for sharing scenes of summer adventures. Assemble travel book kits, catch and release tiny backyard wildlife, view the night sky at any hour of the day through handmade telescopes that fit in a pocket. Plus, as in the past, Volume Seven of Alphabet Glue is full of great recommendations for reading and shares three brand new printable booklists organized both by theme and by reading level.

To win an edition of Alphabet Glue, Volume 7, please leave a comment and Annie and I will draw winners on Sunday evening through the random # generator. In addition Annie is offering Volume 2 FREE to anyone who purchases Volume 7 by Monday, June 25th. Enjoy!
