Summer Is...... - Shivaya Naturals

Summer Is……

June 20, 2011

The start of summer is almost upon us, and it is such a beautiful time of year. After the grey of winter and the delicate light of spring, summer brings such a warmth and vibrancy to our days.

No matter how your summer begins, I hope that it brings you a season full of long days, warm evenings, great food, vibrant color, and tons of fun.

lovely pictures! our summer is starting in a new city with tropical thunderstorms. that is something new that i love from this california girl who grew up during an 8 year drought.

Beautiful pictures. I love how vibrant the first part of summer can be. The middle of the season always seems so hot and brown, and the memory of the colors from those early days are cherished.

That looks – and feels – so good.

Happy Summer – the solstice is nearly upon us.

What a stunning post, well done! Our strawberry season is over now, but we made lots of preserves to carry us through 'til next year!

We love love love Berry Patch Farms

Shivayamama June 21, 2011 at 3:48 pm

Sara, we love them so much too! I was there shooting for a book that I am contributing to, and I just had a blast. I have only ever raspberry picked there, so this was a treat. I didn't realize that they also have picks for cherries, golden currents and a few others. I think that this will be a summer long journey we take :).
