Love it! This week my son received a package that was wrapped in newspaper, some of which was the comics. He paused from the birthday gift he was about to unwrap to start reading them! 🙂

Hope you're doing well, I've been thinking of you.

The Sunday funnies are no laughing matter!

Tonya July 16, 2010 at 7:38 pm

What a wonderful photo – When we buy the Sunday paper, you can hear shouts of, "I get the comics first", "I get them second", etc…
Thinking lots about you. Sending love and warm thoughts.

what a cosy space! today my son discover charlie brown on the newspaper we were using for our art space. he is familiar with charlie brown from the cartoons, and was thrilled to see him in print. he's only 3, so a little young to explain, but it was cute to see the revelation on his face. i hope you're doing well. thinking of you…

Beautiful boy, photo and colors! What a wonderful space: soft light, cozies, Dr. Suess sheets (!!), and the color funnies! Thanks for sharing and reminding me of one of my fave childhood pastimes! Peace, Angela

Beautiful moment!! I love it when they get so engrossed by whatever they're doing

Anna July 19, 2010 at 3:11 am

My kids love to read comics too, especially Garfield and Peanuts. It's so fun to see them engrossed in something I did as a kid.

Agambroult July 19, 2010 at 2:15 pm

Oh boy. That little man is look very grown up heather!
Thinking of you…

earth mama 101 July 20, 2010 at 5:56 pm

My oldest asked me to buy her a Calvin and Hobbes book the other day. I thought it was kinda funny because that was the one comic I loved as a kid. I think it may just seem kinda natural that kids are pulled toward comics as one of their own first reading endevors.

Just a quick note to say that you and all three (!) your little ones are in my thoughts every day. Oh! And have you seen the book Fully Fertile? You prob have, but if not – look for it! It's mostly about conception, but may still be useful. Love!
